PENN Battalion III Trolling Roller Rod

The PENN Battalion III rods are engineered to handle a wide range of drifting and trolling techniques from the boat. Built on a durable one-piece tubular glass blank with a solid tip, these rods offer exceptional strength while reducing the risk of breakage under heavy load. Equipped with heavy-duty SeaGuide® guides and a robust PAC BAY stripper guide, they deliver outstanding durability and optimal line management — even when battling the largest bluefin tuna. The machined aluminum reel seat ensures a secure and stable reel connection, while the integrated gimbal adds extra strength and support during intense fights. The bent-butt models feature a short aluminum bent butt, making them particularly well-suited for stand-up fishing when targeting powerful big game species.
