Following on from the success of the HX Pro reels we’ve taken that knowledge and reel development which has allowed us to produce what we consider to be the best mid-priced reels available. Designed specifically for match angler they’re available in 3000, 4000, 5000 & 6000 sizes.
The reels are built using a lightweight aluminium body, a carbon reinforced rotor and a sleek one-piece bail arm. Casting is aided with the easy reach spool Playing fish is helped with the fast speed SDX multi disc drag system The 5000 & 6000 size reals feature two line clips specifically for feeder fishing on multiple swims, slow oscillation and worm drive for improved line lay and a minimum resistance rotor brake Each reel features 5+1 Ball Bearings Both the 3000 & 4000 real feature a 5.1:1 gear ratio while the gear ratio on the 5000 & 6000 reels is 4.9:1 Weights of the reels are as follows; 3000 - 307g, 4000 – 316g, 5000 – 412g & 6000 – 435g Reel capacity of the 3000 is 150m of Ø0.22mm, 4000 - 150m of Ø0.24mm, 5000 - 150m of Ø0.26mm, 6000 - 150m of Ø0.28mm Retrieve per handle turn is 3000 – 79cm, 4000 – 86cm, 5000 – 90cm & 6000 – 96cm
